Osteopaths believe health to be dependent on ease of mobility, both of the whole body, and its individual parts. Childbirth, occupational stresses, accidents, even the individuals own birth, can cause impairment of this mobility, resulting in dis-ease, often signified by pain. Osteopathy increases mobility, and therefore wellbeing.
